Current research committees

 

Research committees are places of exchanges, non only among sociologists, but also with researchers of other disciplins. Practicians and academics are welcome to meet and share their ideas, organize colloquiums and prepare joint publications. All members of SSA can participate in the activities of research networks. The following research committees are currently active (their addresses can be asked to  SSA):

The SSA can provide on request the statuses framing the creation and the functioning of research committees. Following a written request, the SSA board decides whether the proposed committee is created.

 

Students and junior academics can also organize meetings with the help of the SSA. Requests can be addressed directly to the secretariat.
