Diese dienen dem Informationsaustausch zwischen den einzelnen Forschungsbereichen und f\u00f6rdern den Kontakt zwischen den Soziologinnen aus der ganzen Schweiz wie auch aus dem Ausland.<\/p>\n<p>Die SGS organisiert alle zwei Jahre einen allgemeinen\u00a0Kongress zu einem zentralen\u00a0Thema, an dem soziologische Forschungsarbeiten aus den unterschiedlichsten Gebieten vorgestellt werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p>In den Jahren zwischen den allgemeinen Kongressen finden jeweils kleinere Tagungen statt, die sich an enger definierten Themen orientieren und meist nur einen Teil der Mitglieder
